Founded in 2002 by a small group of developers, the business began as Avant Garde Information Solutions (AGIS), LLC, a consultancy that developed applications for large corporations and small mom-and-pop shops alike. In its early years, the firm enjoyed a significant trajectory of growth as it evolved to better meet the needs of their customers.
In 2008, the recession hit and the firm’s consulting work dried up almost overnight. In response to the widespread economic uncertainty brought on by the recession, the leadership team shifted its focus to better serve the many struggling small businesses across the country. They began offering an affordable, end-to-end, quote-to-cash solution designed to seamlessly blend Accounting, CRM, and ERP into one powerful business management system.

AGIS rebranded as aACE (Art in Accounting, CRM, and ERP) Software in 2013, reflecting their singular focus on perfecting the solution. They partnered with customers to develop and refine the features that mattered most to businesses, which resulted in an easy-to-use software solution that leverages smart automation to help businesses increase efficiencies and improve their bottom line.
