Relationships can be complicated — and that’s just as true in the professional world as it is anywhere else. Whether you’re dealing with franchises, subsidiaries, divisions within a company, mergers, acquisitions, or any other type of business affiliation, it can be difficult to keep track of customer-to-customer relationships.
However, aACE makes tracking these relationships a whole lot easier.
Interface Spotlight
aACE’s Companies module allows you to create company records for leads, customers, vendors, internal employees, partners, or whomever you see fit. Depending on the company’s relationships, aACE can link company records together for easier navigation and relationship management. A great example of this is parent and child companies.
A parent company record shows any linked child companies. A member of your sales staff can easily and conveniently locate who a parent company’s children are.
Similarly, a child company’s record will display the parent company’s record and a link directly to said record.
Company records can be linked to one another for any reason your business sees fit. Some other examples include sister companies or referral companies.
aACE in Action: Linked Companies
Tanya Glenn is an education consultant who works with aACME’s sister company, Education Elite. She also frequently makes purchases from aACME itself on behalf of her clients.
Montboro School District hires Tanya to consult on their new hybrid learning model. The next time Tanya speaks with the account manager at aACME, she mentions that she’s now working with Montboro. The account manager at aACME notes this in aACE by adding the Montboro School District to the Linked Companies section in Tanya’s company record.
Linking company records together is just one feature of aACE that can help you track and manage customer-to-customer relationships.
