aACE has just that feature. aACE’s Templates module gives you template options to utilize across your aACE system, streamlining your workflows and standard records.

aACE offers templates for seven different records types within the system. Depending on the template record, aACE provides fields to enter relevant information for your template type. For example, an order template includes shipping carrier details while an invoice template only includes the shipping costs and charges.After you activate your template, you can create a corresponding record based on the template. aACE will transfer the information from your activated template to your new record automatically so you don’t have to manually re-enter the repetitive information.

aACE in Action: Regular School Supply Order

Suppose a business frequently sells dry erase marker subscription plans to its customers. Each time, a salesperson needs to enter repetitive information for orders that go to different customers. To streamline this process, the business decides to create an order template for the subscription.

A team member creates the order template, filling in all the generic and necessary information for each marker subscription order. After she saves and activates the template, a salesperson creates a new order. However, the salesperson builds this new order straight from the template they activated. aACE auto-fills all the order information from the template, which the salesperson can then simply edit for additional details. This increases accuracy and saves time for both the salesperson and the business.
